Piopio Lions Club Update

SINCE the last Birdtalk the caravan has been taken to a Fun Day at the Tainui Domain in Mokau, the Aria Sports Day and Waitomo Sports Day. Quite big days but a good turnout of helpers in the caravan.

Many club members were involved with the Aria Bike Ride with the caravan supplying food on the Friday night, and members marshalling on the roads on Saturday and Sunday. The Club has donated funds to Piopio College to assist with the purchase of computers for students use. A student has been selected from the College to go on an Outdoor Pursuits adventure; we will hopefully have some feedback on how that went,and be able to report in a future Birdtalk.
