Piopio College students ride to success

TWO Piopio College students have ended the equestrian season with many successes.

Grace Purdie and Smudge have competed in national level dressage events including Elementary Super 5 Series National Champs, Young Rider Dressage Champs, Champion Elementary Pony, Best Performed Pony L1-3 at Bates NZ National Dressage Champs, 3rd overall in Zone Youth section World Dressage Challenge, and AMS National League Champion Elementary Pony.

Meanwhile Tessa Bradcock and Gracie recently again represented the Waikato at the 2023 NZ Pony Club Eventing Champs. Tessa finished in 4th place in the individual competition and the team in 6th place. She also completed eventing to finish 1st in her class last weekend.
