Final school bell rings for Mrs Sheeran

PIOPIO COLLEGE teacher and deputy Principal, Louise Sheeran, has resigned after 14 years, to rest and reset, and is looking forward to pursuing future opportunities.

Principal Rakesh Govind says Mrs Sheeran has worked relentlessly through some trying times on behalf of the College, and we thank her for her outstanding commitment to the College over that time.

We wish her well in her future endeavours.

FROM PIOPIO COLLEGE’S FACEBOOK PAGE
Jean Dickinson... She was a foundation pupil and staff member and worked at the College for 35 years. So of course she was very attached to the College. Her family have been deeply involved [with the school] for nearly 50 years.

Jean's daughter is retiring DP Louise Sheeran.

Her father took his tractor to the college and prepared the ground and sowed the grass seed on the athletic/rugby fields and hockey field during working bees.

Brayden Burnell... Cheers Mrs Sheeran! Cheers for all you’ve done for me to get me where I am today, will cherish the card games of 500 we used to play during history class. Good luck for the rest of your journey and hope to see you around and catch up.
