PPT Update

Greetings to you all
The promised Piopio & District (meaning all outlying districts serviced by Piopio) Community Survey is operational now and we urge you all to take part. The results will be analysed by Versus Research in Hamilton and will be used to plan projects to benefit our district in years to come. The survey will close on the 15th December.

Piopio now has a new facebook page titled ‘Piopio Community Information’. No doubt it will take a wee while to get it operating to the optimum benefit for the community. You can help with this by liking and following this page. The purpose of the page is to be a community noticeboard, informing us of local events, supporting businesses, services and social groups and general community well-being. Local Piopio businesses are welcome to advertise on this page. It is definitely not intended for buy and sell. There is also a link there to complete the survey online.

As part of a four stage community Art Project, a childrens’ art
competition is planned for the school Term 1 next year. Students at Piopio and Aria Primary schools and Piopio College will be offered tuition and support in creating works of art to ultimately be displayed in the Piopio Village. More details next issue.
