Piopio Swimming pool committee grateful

THE Piopio pools would like to thank the community for supporting their recent fundraiser.

The Targa Rally brings a big hungry crowd that need feeding (breakfast and lunch). The breakfast crew were up at the college early to sell over 100 bacon and egg mcmuffins. Lunch was delicious roast rolls, sausage sizzle and home baking.

Thank you to the ladies who answered the call and prepared food on Saturday afternoon. And a big thank you to all the donations of kai from the community... roasts, vegetables, eggs and homebaking. This was an immense help.

We are super lucky to have everyone supporting the pools fundraiser and we appreciate all the help. The committee would like to acknowledge one of its own, Sheryl, who once again ran a well run fundraising campaign.
