Piopio ANZAC Commemoration 2026

THIS YEAR, please assemble for the parade at 10.45am at the corner of Tui and Weka Streets.

The parade is at 11am with formalities and service to follow. Our small RSA group are keen to try a new format which is still in the planning stage. Any major changes will be informed via social media, website or school newsletters closer to the time.

Everyone attending needs to be mindful of safety as the State Highway through Piopio will be open to traffic.

At this stage Pam Voyce will be MC, Gordon Simpson RSA lead, and Thomas Roy Guest Speaker.

All groups and individuals are very welcome to participate in the March and wreath laying ceremony.

Following the service, all attendees are welcome to share in food and refreshments at the Piopio Cosmopolitan (and RSA) Club.
