Local Swimming pool upgrades

THE Piopio Community Pools would like to thank all the families, businesses and clubs that donated by sponsoring a brick. The sponsors wall looks magic! With your help the small pool was relined successfully and steps were put inside the shallow end.

All primary school children and Piopio Swim club - learn to swim children were all able to participate in lessons this season. Thank you all once again!

Update: the big pool had a new doser system installed; this system puts the chemicals in automatically and accurately. The small pool has funds for a automatic doser system but the old changing rooms it's housed in needs to be demolished. Watch this space!

The existing changing rooms requires a new roof - fundraising for this is underway. If you are a trade person that can help with this or would like to make a donation, please get in touch.

Once again thank you to our super stars Sheryl and Kimberley for running the Aria Sports day kitchen fundraiser. Also, thank you to all those who supported by donating food. It was a busy fundraiser!

The committee is raising funds by running the kitchen at the up and coming rally in May.
