Learning about the trades - Piopio College

WITH THE support of Aotahi, we hosted a fantastic Trades morning for our students. They had the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the trades, practise practical skills, and gain valuable advice about pathways into these industries.

Students rotated through four hand-on workshops in 30-minute sessions, covering building, plumbing, mechanical, and engineering.

The feedback from students was outstanding! A huge thank you to: Kurt Houghton (building), Nigel Neustroski (plumbing), Stacey James (mechanical), and BCD Group (engineering). And of course a big thanks to Aotahi for organising this event and giving our students such an engaging and inspiring experience.
