Pest Management
Improve our Biosecurity and Biodiversity through pest control.
From March we will be kicking off monitoring x50 NZ Auto Traps AT 220 across our catchment. Thank you to our landowners and project sponsor MPI for supporting this project. .
Our goal is to reduce the pest population in our catchment using humane, toxic free traps. The approach for developing this project is to support and maintain our collective community action towards the collaborative and responsive uptake of our riparian planting programme and provide understanding of pests within our catchment. Our focus for 2025 is to ensure we are taking the best possible actions to improve the biodiversity of our catchment area. Updates and links to trap locations will be available on our website from April so keep an eye out.
If you are keen to come on board NZ Auto Traps are offering discounted pricing via KCRC membership. Please reach out to [email protected] with [email protected] cc’d to discuss discount options.
